Two games highlight ESPN Radio and QCSportsNet’s coverage of Quad Cities high school basketball on January 3rd, including a key MAC matchup of two top-10 4A teams in girls basketball as North Scott hosts a resurgent Davenport North team.

Game schedule for Tuesday, January 3rd 2015 – All pregames start at approximately 7:20 PM with tip times set for approximately 7:35 PM. Because of announcer availability (weather-related), the North Scott-Davenport North boys game will not air.

The annual Genesis Shootout is one of the great events on the Quad Cities Sports Calendar, and ESPN Radio is proud to present this annual holiday tradition. All seven games will be on ESPN 93.5 FM, http://www.espn935.com, and http://qcsn.co/espn935 with the preview show starting at 9:45 AM on Saturday, December 20th from the Carver Center at Augustana College.

Tonight’s game is the first of six games across the ESPN Radio and QCSportsNet family of networks, highlighted by the Pleasant Valley-Iowa City West district championship game Friday night on KBOB 1170 AM and qcsn.co/kbob1170.

Friday Night Football Week 9 schedule – Including a special Thursday game

ESPN Radio’s Friday Night Football – Powered by QCSportsNet makes a special Thursday Night appearance this week before returning with five games on Friday night. North Scott is heading to the Iowa 4A playoffs, but it has one more regular season game against Davenport North from Brady Street Stadium on Thursday night. Jim Taylor will have all the action on ESPN 93.5 FM, www.espn935.com, or qcsn.co/espn935 starting at 7:10 PM on Thursday.

Friday’s schedule includes Pleasant Valley playing for an Iowa 4A district championship at Iowa City West and Assumption traveling to Washington with a home playoff game on the line against the Demons. Illinois games feature a Quad City metro rivalry between United Township and Alleman and Rock Island finishing its season against Peoria Notre Dame.
