January ends and February begins with a full slate of high school basketball coverage live on the Quad Cities’ live local sports leader! We start our coverage on Monday with a Western Big 6 girls makeup game as Rock Island travels to Galesburg. Tuesday night features a critical MAC matchup as Pleasant Valley looks to follow up their big win over North Scott on Friday with a trip to the Falcons’ Nest at Davenport West. The Western Big 6 girls take over Thursday’s coverage, while our boys’ slate is full Friday and Saturday with conference and non-conference action. Genesis Shootout – December 16th

For the fifth consecutive season, QCSportsNet is proud to air all seven games of the Genesis Shootout live! This annual Quad Cities holiday tradition is one of the biggest days on the sports calendar, and we will be there from 9:45 AM until the final game ends after 10 PM. Each year, the Shootout provides great matchups and an exciting finish.

Dallon Christensen, Joe Winkel, Ken Jacoby, and the entire QCSportsNet team will be on hand to bring you all of the action from the Carver Center at Augustana.

Conference races heat up on QCSportsNet this week!

Conference championship races take center stage on QCSportsNet this week with the Pleasant Valley girls, United Township boys, and Rock Island boys looking to keep conference championship hopes alive. The PV girls look for revenge on Friday night as Davenport North comes to PV as part of a Mississippi Athletic Conference varsity doubleheader. On Tuesday night, we will air the PV boys and girls against Davenport Assumption from different locations. The PV boys host Assumption on our PV Channel, while the PV girls look to stay atop the conference at Assumption on our PV2 Channel.

Rock Island and United Township are in Western Big 6 action Friday, with the Rocks traveling to Wharton Field House to take on Moline and UT hosting Galesburg. Our coverage concludes on Saturday with Rock Island participating in the Galesburg Shootout in a special 6:15 PM tipoff time.
