QCSportsNet returns to the airwaves this Friday night.  Ken Jacoby is at Rock Island Public Schools Stadium for a matchup with the Alton Redbirds, while Dallon Christensen will call the Spartans’ season opener against Cedar Rapids Jefferson at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids.

It promises to be an exciting season of high school football on both sides of the river as the Rocks and Spartans return promising teams following state playoff appearances last season. The Western Big 6 football champion Rock Island Rocks seek their fifth win in a row in the “second season” of the IHSA football playoffs. The Rocks (6-3) make the 170-mile trip to Crete-Monee (7-2) this Friday night for the first round of the Class 6A IHSA playoffs, and QCSportsNet is your exclusive home for the Rocks in the playoffs. “The Voice of the Rocks”, Ken Jacoby, will have the call of the game starting with the pregame at 7:15 PM.
