QCSportsNet.com, the leading provider of high school sports play-by-play in the Quad Cities, has announced plans for the 2016-17 season, including live coverage of three area high schools:  Rock Island, United Township, and Pleasant Valley.

QCSportsNet will live stream all Rock Island and Pleasant Valley football games, and all boys basketball games for Rocky, PV, and United Township.  After making an impact on girls sports last season with live play-by-play of state tournament basketball games, QCSportsNet is expanding its girls hoops coverage, with nine or more regular season games for each of the three schools, Rocky, PV, and UT.  In addition, all football playoff games and all state tournament boys and girls basketball games of all three schools will be carried live.

Throughout the season, fans can keep track of upcoming games and news about the Rocks, Spartans, and Panthers at www.QCSportsNet.com, or facebook.com/QCSportsNet.

The same lead announcers will return for the upcoming season:  Dallon Christensen (Pleasant Valley), Ken Jacoby (Rock Island), and Joe Winkel and Tanner Rowe (United Township).  In addition, Quad Cities River Bandits play-by-play announcer Jake Levy will lend his talents to the QCSportsNet crew.

In its biggest year yet, QCSportsNet capped off its 2015-16 season with 2,170 unique visitors to the United Township live streaming page for the Super Sectional boys basketball game vs. Chicago Simeon.  This set the all-time single-game record in the history of live streaming service Network1Sports, which has 247 channels in 33 states and has carried more than 40,000 games since its inception in 2005.
