State playoff action highlights this week’s QCSportsNet coverage!

 

State playoff action is in full swing on both sides of the river, and QCSportsNet is there with all of the action! We start on Monday, February 19th as the Rock Island girls basketball team battles Bradley-Bourbannais in an Illinois Class 4A sectional semifinal at Champaign Centennial High School. The Pleasant Valley girls basketball team looks to punch its ticket to Des Moines on Tuesday night as the Spartans host Iowa City West in an Iowa Class 5A regional final. The Rocks girls team will play on Thursday night against undefeated Edwardsville, while the Pleasant Valley boys team faces the winner of Monday’s Cedar Rapids Jefferson/Linn-Mar substate quarterfinal game on Friday night at Pleasant Valley.

Thursday night, the Moline Maroon girls play for a regional championship vs homestanding Bradley-Bourbannais. Friday night features the Rock Island girls in the Pekin regional final, while the Pleasant Valley boys face Muscatine with a MAC championship on the line. Moline and Rock Island look to keep their conference title hopes alive. On Saturday, the Pleasant Valley girls face Davenport North in an Iowa Class 5A regional semifinal matchup

Girls state playoff action begins this week on QCSportsNet!

QCSportsNet’s state playoff coverage begins this week with Illinois and Iowa girls basketball playoff action! We have you covered across the region with United Township, Moline, and Rock Island girls basketball beginning their journeys to Redbird Arena at Illinois State University. The Pleasant Valley girls basketball team will begin its playoff action on Saturday night.

We don’t forget about the boys scene, as MAC and Western Big 6 action continues this week featuring two in-town rivalries. Pleasant Valley and Davenport Central face off on Tuesday night, while Alleman is at Rock Island on Friday night
