The QC’s top teams are on QCSportsNet this week!

A big week of high school basketball is already underway on QCSportsNet! The action starts on Tuesday night with United Township and Davenport North facing off in a bi-state varsity basketball doubleheader. Friday night brings action from both sides of the river, highlighted by broadcasts of the boys and girls games between North Scott and Pleasant Valley. Please review the PV schedule carefully, as the girls game will be on our new second PV channel from The Pit in Eldridge. United Township girls basketball is featured on Thursday night with the boys taking on Alleman this Friday.

Key conference rivalries highlight QCSportsNet’s coverage this week!

QCSportsNet has another big week of Quad Cities high school broadcast scheduled, with our teams traveling throughout the Midwest to help you follow your favorite teams!

The action starts on Tuesday night, with the Pleasant Valley boys looking to build on the momentum of their big win Friday as they travel to Burlington. On Thursday, Western Big 6 girls basketball takes center stage with the state-ranked Rock Island girls and United Township girls on the airwaves. Friday, we will have dual broadcasts of the Rock Island-UT showdown at the Panther Den along with PV’s matchup with Davenport Central. On Saturday, QCSportsNet travels to Kankakee for two UT boys games and to the Wisconsin Dells to follow the PV boys and the North Scott boys.

IHMVCU Shootout featured on QCSportsNet this week!

QCSportsNet opens 2017 with a wall-to-wall slate of games this weekend. The weekend starts with a Western Big 6 girls matchup as United Township visits Rock Island Alleman. Pleasant Valley, and United Township boys basketball return to the hardwood with Friday night action. Rock Island and UT return for Saturday night non-conference action.

On Saturday night, QCSportsNet will present special coverage from the IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union Shootout. Girls basketball takes center stage from Augustana College with QCSportsNet airing the final three games of the shootout. Please note that all three of the shootout games will air exclusively on our Pleasant Valley channel to address conflicts with the Rock Island and United Township games. Tuesday night hoops live on QCSportsNet!

As we approach Christmas, QCSportsNet will present a limited Tuesday night schedule of two games on December 20th. United Township travels to Alleman for a rare Western Big 6 Tuesday night matchup. On the Iowa side, Pleasant Valley makes the trip to Muscatine to take on Iowa recruit Joe Wieskamp and the Muskies. The PV game also features the Big Ten Network’s Zach Mackey taking the play by play duties.

Stay tuned to our QCSportsNet blog during the holiday break for listings of our teams playing in Christmas tournaments around the state. The Rock Island boys and girls will play at The State Farm Classic tournament in Bloomington-Normal, while UT will play in the Pekin holiday tournament. Check this site as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages for all of the updated listings as we learn results for the Rocks and Panthers.

Rivalries and the Genesis Shootout highlight this week’s QCSportsNet action!

A big week of high school basketball leads to the biggest day on the Quad Cities sports calendar, and QCSportsNet will be your guide for all of the action! The week kicks off with the Pleasant Valley boys team traveling to Clinton for MAC action. Rock Island and United Township face off in Western Big 6 girls action on Thursday, while the Panther boys host Quincy on Friday night. Rock Island and Alleman renew acquaintances on Friday night, while PV and Bettendorf face off in a MAC varsity doubleheader. The week builds to the annual Genesis Shootout on Saturday, with PV playing at 3:15 PM, Rock Island at 6:45 PM, and United Township in the featured 8:30 PM matchup at Augustana College’s Carver Center.
