Wednesday’s Iowa football playoff schedule on ESPN Radio and QCSportsNet

Join ESPN Radio Quad Cities and QCSportsNet as we proudly present the first round of the Iowa High School Football Playoffs! Quad City teams are looking to make it to the UNI-Dome in mid-November, and we will make the trek with your favorite teams all the way to the Dome.

Here is the schedule for Wednesday, October 29th (first round). All kickoffs are at 7 PM.

The high school football playoffs are here!

The regular season is now past, and it’s time for the high school football playoffs to begin! ESPN Radio Quad Cities and QCSportsNet are your home for the Illinois and Iowa high school football playoffs. Playoff action starts on Wednesday, October 29th with the Iowa playoffs, and the Illinois playoffs take the spotlight on Saturday, November 1.

Kevin Stewart touchdown catch and run brings Pleasant Valley within a touchdown

Pleasant Valley wide receiver Kevin Stewart scores a key touchdown on a 29-yard touchdown catch and run against Iowa City West on October 24, 2014. This touchdown with :36 left in the 2nd quarter pulled Pleasant Valley to within 21-14 against Iowa City West in a game the Spartans eventually won 38-24.
