The first clip is of Will Carius’ final high school basket and the ovation from the PV crowd for the seniors’ final appearance. The second clip is of QCSportsNet’s Dallon Christensen interviewing all five PV seniors – Will Carius, John Czarnecki, DiAnte Fields, Kyle Mickle, and Carter Milam.
Pleasant Valley concludes its 2015-2016 season in the Iowa Class 4A third place game today at 1:45 PM against Cedar Falls. QCSportsNet’s pregame coverage will begin at 1:30 PM. The Spartans face Cedar Falls after both teams suffered buzzer-beating defeats in Friday’s semifinal games.
United Township’s victory last night means the Panthers make its first Elite 8 since 1979 and will play in the IHSA Class 4A supersectional at Redbird Arena in Normal on Tuesday. Pregame coverage will start at 6:40 PM as the Panthers take on perennial power Chicago Simeon.

The Spartans face West Des Moines Valley for a trip to the state championship game at 1:10 PM on Friday, March 11. Later on Friday, United Township looks to make its first Elite Eight since 1979 as it faces Alton in the finals of the Collinsville Sectional.
