Basketball weeks do not get much bigger than this week, and QCSportsNet is there to bring you the action from all over the Midwest!
The action starts on Tuesday night, when Rock Island and United Township meet for the third time. This time, it’s win or go home in the sectional semifinals at historic Wharton Field House in Moline. The winner will play Friday night in the Collinsville Sectional final. We will carry dual broadcasts of the game, with “home team” broadcasts on our Rock Island and United Township channels. We will carry the sectional final from Collinsville on Friday night. The only question is will the Rocks or Panthers represent the Western Big Six and the Quad Cities.
Pleasant Valley heads to Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday for its second consecutive state tournament appearance. PV starts its road to a second straight state title game appearance with a quarterfinal appearance against Dubuque Senior on Wednesday. Tipoff from Des Moines is at 2:45 PM, with pregame set for 2:25 PM.
