The Rock Island Rocks, fresh off of a heart-stopping win at Peoria High last week, return home to open the Western Big 6 schedule against Galesburg. United Township goes on the road to Quincy, while Moline hosts Rock Island Alleman and Pleasant Valley looks to pick up its first win of the season hosting Davenport Central.

QCSportsNet goes on the road in Week 3 for three out of town games with our local teams! United Township is on the road at LaSalle-Peru, while Rock Island looks for its first win of the season at Peoria High. Third-ranked Bettendorf takes its first road trip of the season to Dubuque Hempstead. Moline and Pleasant Valley are at home with the Maroons hosting Rich South and the Spartans hosting long-time rival North Scott.

Only QC media outlets with live high school sports play-by-play in 2018-19

QCSportsNet.com, the leading provider of live high school sports play-by-play in the Quad Cities, is teaming up with Fox Sports Radio 1230, WFXN, to bring live coverage of high school basketball to fans of Quad Cities schools in the 2018-19 season. QCSportsNet and WFXN are the only media outlets in the Quad Cities scheduled to carry live high school sports play-by-play.

“With football and boys and girls basketball, we’ll be carrying about 200 live games this upcoming season,” said QCSportsNet president Ken Jacoby. “We’re excited for the opportunity to reach even more fans with some of our basketball games on Fox Sports Radio 1230.”

The exact schedule is to be determined, but Jacoby said, “The number of games on the radio this upcoming season will definitely be in double figures.”

It’s the perfect addition to our lineup of live sports coverage, including Green Bay Packers football, Fighting Illini football and basketball and Quad City metro high school football.”

United Township football also added to live play-by-play coverage

QCSportsNet.com, the leading provider of live high school sports play-by-play in the Quad Cities, takes another step forward in 2018-19, adding coverage of United Township Panthers football, as well as Bettendorf Bulldogs football and basketball. This brings to five the number of schools covered by the live webcasts on QCSportsNet.com, with the total number of games expected to be around 200 for 2018-19.
