The stakes could not be higher for Illinois’ oldest high school rivals this Tuesday night as Moline and Rock Island meet with a trip to the IHSA Class 4A Pekin Sectional Tuesday on QCSportsNet! We will have live coverage from Pekin on Tuesday night with pregame coverage starting at 6:40 PM. Regardless of the outcome of Tuesday’s game, we will cover the sectional final on Friday night as the winner of Tuesday’s game meets the winner of Wednesday’s game between Belleville West and Quincy with pregame coverage again starting at 6:40 PM.

Illinois Class 4A regional action starts Monday on QCSportsNet!

The second season for our Western Big 6 teams begins Monday night live on QCSportsNet! We begin our coverage with a special doubleheader from the Rock Island regional on Monday night. United Township takes on Ottawa with pregame coverage starting at 5:40, while Rock Island has the nightcap against Peoria High at 7:10 PM. Please note that these games will be on the UT and Rock Island channels, respectively. UT will play Tuesday night if they win, while Rock Island will play on Wednesday if they win. Moline starts its playoff action on Wednesday night against Normal Community at Peoria Richwoods with pregame coverage starting at 6:40 PM.

State playoff action highlights this week’s QCSportsNet coverage!

 

State playoff action is in full swing on both sides of the river, and QCSportsNet is there with all of the action! We start on Monday, February 19th as the Rock Island girls basketball team battles Bradley-Bourbannais in an Illinois Class 4A sectional semifinal at Champaign Centennial High School. The Pleasant Valley girls basketball team looks to punch its ticket to Des Moines on Tuesday night as the Spartans host Iowa City West in an Iowa Class 5A regional final. The Rocks girls team will play on Thursday night against undefeated Edwardsville, while the Pleasant Valley boys team faces the winner of Monday’s Cedar Rapids Jefferson/Linn-Mar substate quarterfinal game on Friday night at Pleasant Valley.
