I had the opportunity to interview one of my best friends in the media business for ESPN Radio/QCSportsNet’s Friday Night Football coverage. Jim Taylor is the news and sports director at WRMJ-FM in Aledo, IL. Jim is the long-time voice of WRMJ’s high school football and basketball coverage, and he has also covered numerous IHSA state championship events for the IHSA’s state championship network. A media lifer, Jim is a regular presence at Sherrard, Rockridge, Mercer County, and Orion events.

Jim and I cover the following items in this interview, which will also air during our football games this Friday night.

Friday Night Football features six games on Friday, October 3

ESPN Radio and QCSportsNet present Week 6 of Friday Night Football with a slate of six games covering both sides of the river. This week’s featured games are Rock Island at Alleman on ESPN 93.5 FM and Pleasant Valley at Davenport Central on KBOB 1170 AM.

Friday Night Football – Week 5 live at 7:10 PM!

Prairie 2014-09-19ESPN Radio and QCSportsNet will carry six games live this Friday night, featuring United Township and Moline from the Soule Bowl and Davenport Assumption hosting Mount Pleasant at Brady Street Stadium. The full schedule can be found below. All pregames will start at approximately 7:10 with kickoffs set for close to 7:45 PM.
