Rock Island football postponed to Saturday at 1:30 PM

Because of inclement weather in the Quad Cities, the Rock Island-Quincy game has been postponed to Saturday at 2 PM. Ken Jacoby will have the call starting at 1:30 PM on September 19th.

High school football returns to QCSportsNet on Friday, September 18th as the Rock Island Rocks host the Quincy Blue Devils in Western Big Six football action. Join “The Voice of the Rocks”, Ken Jacoby, as the Rocks look to avenge a heartbreaking loss last season. Rock Island High School Football Is Back!

Lead announcer Ken Jacoby begins his third consecutive season calling Rocky games, starting with theSeptember 18 Homecoming contest against the Quincy Blue Devils. A Quad Cities state champion crowned Saturday on ESPN Radio

They have split two regular season meetings by a combined winning margin of nine points. They have only five losses between them all season. They have played the best the state of Iowa has to offer.

North Scott and Pleasant Valley are the two remaining teams in Iowa Class 4A. For the first time in 29 years, two Mississippi Athletic Conference teams play for an Iowa state basketball championship, and ESPN 93.5 will be there as a Quad City team is crowned state champion.
