State Playoffs – February 25 – March 2

The state basketball playoffs are in full force this week on QCSportsNet’s Lujack’s Drive to the Championship! The Rock Island Rocks girls travel to Bloomington on Monday night to face Mother McAuley in an Elite Eight supersectional matchup at Illinois Wesleyan University. The Bettendorf boys look to punch their second ticket to state in the last three seasons on Tuesday against Dubuque Senior at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids. IHSA boys regional action starts on Wednesday with all three of our Western Big 6 teams in action.

State playoff action is in full force this week, and QCSportsNet will have all of the action on both sides of the river! Monday night features the Rock Island girls facing Normal Community in Illinois Class 4A sectional action while the Pleasant Valley boys meet Cedar Rapids Jefferson in the first round of the Iowa Class 4A substate. Girls regional final action takes center stage on Tuesday with Pleasant Valley and Bettendorf looking to punch their tickets to Des Moines. United Township and Rock Island close the Western Big 6 regular season on Friday, while Moline travels to the United Center in Chicago Saturday to face Chicago North Lawndale. Bettendorf opens Iowa Class 4A boys substate action at home on Friday night.

Girls basketball playoff action and the conclusion of the Iowa boys regular season highlights this week’s action on QCSportsNet! Monday night starts the week with Bettendorf hosting North Scott with the Mississippi Athletic Conference championship on the line. The Bulldogs can put themselves into a position to win a share of the MAC title with a win. The United Township girls kick off our state playoff coverage on Monday at Rock Island against Pekin. The Western Big 6 boys continue their regular season with the entire slate of games on the network this Friday night. The Pleasant Valley and Bettendorf girls start their journey to the Iowa Class 5A state tournament with playoff games on Saturday night.
