Thanksgiving tournament basketball starts QCSportsNet’s hoops schedule!

QCSportsNet returns for its fifth season of bringing you the best in Quad Cities high school basketball! Things heat up Thanksgiving week, as we welcome Moline Maroons basketball full time to our growing roster of teams. Moline joins Rock Island, Pleasant Valley, and United Township as the Maroons look to field an exciting team after their surprise playoff run last winter.

Thanksgiving week brings holiday tournament basketball, and QCSportsNet will be live across the state following Moline, UT, and Rock Island basketball. Full schedules are below. After Thanksgiving, Pleasant Valley will begin its season with high hopes for both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

Football playoffs start this week on QCSportsNet!

The Quad Cities catches football playoff fever this week with the first round of playoff action beginning in Iowa and Illinois. QCSportsNet will be live in Bettendorf and Moline to bring you all of the live action!

On Friday, October 27th, Pleasant Valley and Bettendorf renew the Quad Cities’ biggest football rivalry in a rematch of a tight Week 4 matchup at TouVelle Stadium in Bettendorf. On Saturday, October 28th, the Western Big 6 champion Moline Maroons host perennial Illinois power Chicago Mt. Carmel in the first round of the Illinois Class 7A playoffs. Dallon Christensen and Joe Winkel bring you the live action this weekend. It promises to be an intense weekend of win or go home high school football action.

The playoffs chase concludes this week on QCSportsNet!

It’s “win and you are in” for Pleasant Valley this Friday night, as the Spartans travel to Dubuque for a play-in game against Dubuque Senior to finish the regular season live on QCSportsNet! The Spartans and Rams play for second place and a spot in the Iowa Class 4A playoffs, while Moline looks to improve its playoff seeding as the Maroons host Stagg. Rock Island looks to keep its slight playoff hopes alive in the season finale against Mateo Valley from Rock Island Public Schools Stadium. We will be on the air at 7:10 PM with all three of our broadcasts, with the usual crew of Joe Winkel (Moline), Dallon Christensen (PV), and Ken Jacoby (Rock Island) bringing you all of the live action.

Pleasant Valley and North Scott do battle in Eldridge with first place in Iowa Class 4A District 6 on the line, while Moline and Quincy meet at Browning Field with each team sporting a 3-0 conference record. The race to the playoffs is in full swing, and QCSportsNet is there with your favorite teams for these important matchups!

Please note the special start time for the PV-North Scott game. Instead of our usual scheduled start time of 7:10 PM, our Crawford Company pregame coverage from North Scott will start at 7 PM.
