The holiday season is in full swing, and QCSportsNet is here to give you all of your live high school basketball! We will carry 11 (yes, eleven) games on Friday and Saturday, including all seven games of the Genesis Shootout this Saturday. Friday night features four games, including UT traveling to Quincy, Rock Island and Alleman facing off at Augustana, and both games of the varsity doubleheader between cross-town rivals Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley. QCSportsNet.com ready for marathon live coverage of Genesis Shootout
Genesis Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine joins as title sponsor of halftime show
QCSportsNet.com, the leading provider of live high school sports in the Quad Cities, will present live play-by-play coverage of all seven games of the upcoming Genesis Shootout, featuring 14 high school basketball teams from the Quad Cities and surrounding area, this Saturday at Augustana College. No other media outlet has live coverage of more than one game.
Fans of all 14 schools will be able to hear the live action on any desktop, laptop, or mobile device with Internet capability. Go to www.QCSportsNet.com to access the live stream of each game.
The Genesis Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine has signed on as a sponsor of the day-long and evening-long coverage, which will last more than 12 hours, beginning at 9:45 a.m., and ending around 10:00 p.m. The Genesis Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Halftime Show will be featured during all games.
The team of Joe Winkel (play-by-play) and Tanner Rowe (color), who ordinarily do only United Township games for QCSportsNet.com, plan to announce all seven games themselves, including the Panthers’ contest against North Scott. Ken Jacoby (play-by-play), who announces Rock Island games for QCSportsNet.com, and Dallon Christensen (color), who does QCSportsNet.com‘s Pleasant Valley play-by-play, will team up to call the nightcap between the highly rated Rocks and Spartans.
This boys basketball season, QCSportsNet.com already provides season-long coverage of three of the participating schools, Rock Island, United Township, and Pleasant Valley. QCSportsnet.com will also present complete state tournament of all three schools.

If the holidays are the most wonderful time of the year, then this week is the most wonderful time of the Quad Cities basketball season! QCSportsNet will be on hand to call a number of big Quad Cities rivalries and the Genesis Shootout this week. This week’s highlights include Pleasant Valley taking on an undefeated Clinton team in MAC action on Tuesday and two cross-town rivalry games on Friday night. Friday also features our first girls matchup of the season as we will air the Pleasant Valley-Bettendorf varsity doubleheader at PV. UT travels to Quincy on Friday. All three teams are in action Saturday at the Genesis Shootout, with a special simulcast of the Rock Island-PV game on Saturday night from Carver Center at Augustana College
