The Thanksgiving tournament schedule kicks into high gear on Friday, and QCSportsNet will be there for all of the United Township and Rock Island action!

Fresh off of a convincing win over last season’s Class 2A third place finisher Rockridge, United Township returns to action at the Geneseo Thanksgiving Tournament with games against Geneseo on Friday morning and Rock Falls on Friday afternoon. Joe Winkel and Tanner Rowe will have the call. The Rock Island Rocks start their 2015-2016 season Friday night against West Aurora with Ken Jacoby calling the action. The full Friday game schedule is below.

The 2015-2016 high school basketball season starts this week, and QCSportsNet is proud to be your home for live action across the river! Tune into QCSportsNet all season long as we will air every game for the Rock Island Rocks, United Township Panthers, and Pleasant Valley Spartans. The Illinois season starts this week with Thanksgiving tournament action, and we will carry the Rocks and Panthers throughout the weekend. The broadcast schedule for both teams is below.

  • Monday, November 23 – vs. Rockridge (air time 7:10 PM)
  • Friday, November 27 – vs. Geneseo (air time 10:15 AM) and vs. Rock Falls (air time 4:15 PM)
  • Saturday, November 28 – vs. Chicago Ag Science (air time 4:15 PM)

The Western Big 6 football champion Rock Island Rocks seek their fifth win in a row in the “second season” of the IHSA football playoffs. The Rocks (6-3) make the 170-mile trip to Crete-Monee (7-2) this Friday night for the first round of the Class 6A IHSA playoffs, and QCSportsNet is your exclusive home for the Rocks in the playoffs. “The Voice of the Rocks”, Ken Jacoby, will have the call of the game starting with the pregame at 7:15 PM.
